How to Use:
- Place a small amount of wood chips (about the size of your pinky) on top of the screen inside the chimney. Use fewer chips rather than more, filling the screen only halfway. Keep the chips loose, not packed.
- Position the Smoke Top securely on the glass of your choice.
- Hold a blue flame torch lighter a few inches above the wood chips, directing the flame straight down into the center of the screen. Gradually lower the torch until it's about 1-2 inches from the wood chips.
- The wood chips should start to glow red. If the flame causes the chips to blow out of the chimney, lower the torch's setting. If it takes longer than 5 seconds to fill the glass with smoke, increase the torch's setting.
- Once you've achieved your desired level of smokiness, remove the Smoke Top and enjoy your drink. Safely discard the burnt wood chips in a non-flammable container.
- After roughly every 15 drinks, you may notice reduced smoke flow due to soot buildup on the screen. Simply clean the screen by scraping it with the pointed end of a knife.
- After about 200 cocktails, consider replacing the screen. To do this, push a pen or pencil through the bottom of the smoker to pop out the old screen, then firmly press the new screen into place from the top.
