Our Story

Originally from New Mexico, we became residents of Ponca City in the fall of 2022 after visiting Oklahoma while traveling to a work conference. During that trip, we fell in love with the Ponca City community, the prairie landscape and the abundance of outdoor recreation.

We also share an enthusiasm for cooking and culinary experiences and believe both can play an important role in building strong communities. When people gather around a meal, they share stories, traditions and experiences that create lasting connections. Our vision for Cast Iron Company is not simply to operate a retail store, but to create a place where those connections can grow and where we can contribute to the community we proudly call home.

The historic Marland Building provides a fitting home for Cast Iron Company. Its beautifully restored downtown space reflects the same appreciation for craftsmanship, history and longevity that draws so many people to cast iron cookware.
