Bertha Kaepernik Blancett, a trailblazing rodeo performer, toured extensively with the 101 Ranch Wild West Show, showcasing her fearless bronc riding and stunt work. Known for her grit and determination, she gained national fame after becoming the first woman to ride a bucking horse at Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1904. Her time with the 101 Ranch allowed her to perform across the U.S. and Europe, cementing her legacy as one of the most daring women of the Wild West era.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in Sheets Farm Pork Chops
  • Meat Church Holy Gospel (to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups of orange Juice
  • ¾ cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tbs of sesame oil
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • ½  tsp of black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT for the Holy Gospel to make a marinade.
  2. In a large container, marinade the chops and chill for 4 hours.
  3. Once removed from marinade, season with Holy Gospel and grill, flipping and brushing with remaining marinade until the chops are glazed and the center of the chops reaches 140 degrees F.
  4. Rest for 5 minutes and eat up!
